Magic Twanger Productions in the Media
Magic Twanger Productions has had the good fortune to be involved with several media groups throughout the past year. As a winner of the Direct-to-Video contest hosted by Wizard Magazine, they attended the Chicago World Convention and were privileged to meet numerous writers and artists who remain fans of, friends of, and contributors for Magic Twanger Productions.
The People's Channel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina airs "Magic Twanger's Half Hour Comedy Hour" weekly and has generated an enormous positive response within the community, leading to the Reservoir Bar's dedication of one Sunday per month as "Twanger Sunday." At the Reservoir, a new hour long show is premiered on the big screen along with the presentation of two horribly great B-movies and discounted Bloody Marys. Colorado's Flying Dog Brewery is currently in discussion with the group in regards to Magic Twanger Productions writing and filming a commercial for their company.
After the success of the black and white zombie short film FAMILY, Twanger was picked up by Andy Schanie of Last Call Films and asked to do a feature length zombie movie. Titled the Sick and the Dead, principle photography recently wrapped so check back here for a premiere and release date!
